What to Expect

Verifi Identification System (VIS) is an online fingerprint identification system. Users are enrolled and identified securely over the internet. VIS is used to authenticate users for secure access to web pages and custom applications. The VIS demonstration consists of setup, enrollment and online identification. Please, follow the simple steps below or contact a sales executive for more information.

Step 1: Setup & Requirements

Step A:   Install VIS Drivers.
If you do not have a VIS CD with drivers use the following:
»  VIS Drivers (25MB)

Step B:  Plug in Fingerprint Reader.
Use a Verifi P4000 or P5000 for the Demonstration.

Step C:   Browser Setup.
Use Internet Explorer 6 or above with Active X enabled.

Step 2: Enrollment

To protect your privacy, VIS enrollment does not capture fingerprint images, but instead uses encrypted mathematical models

Please note: All enrollment templates are deleted after 30 days.

Step 3: Demonstration Site

Secure Online Identification

The Demo Site is an example of a partners service website to showcase how secure biometric authentication may be used. The site is designed to be used after enrollment and will identify you by the User ID provided during enrollment.
